Partnering Districts
The mission of Serenity's Advisory Board is to enable the opportunity for any adolescent needing the program to take advantage of the program. Students from Collin and surrounding counties in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex are given an opportunity to attend this one-of-a-kind, recovery high school.

Partnering school districts receive all of the benefits of the Serenity High program by simply agreeing to and signing a Memorandum of Understanding with the McKinney ISD. There is no cost associated with the partnership unless a student is actively enrolled in the program. The partnering school district is only charged for a student's actual enrollment tenure. School districts will want to know that the A.D.A funds stay within the home district's budget.

If your school district is not currently in a partnering relationship with the McKinney ISD you may contact Juli Ferraro to schedule a presentation to your school board. Parents should communicate with their individual school boards to advocate becoming a member of Serenity's program.

The following Districts currently participate in the Serenity High program:
  • McKinney (home district)
  • Anna
  • Blue Ridge
  • Celina
  • Community ISD
  • Farmersville
  • Frisco
  • Melissa
  • Pilot Point
  • Plano
  • Princeton
  • Richardson
  • Rockwall
  • Wylie
If your district does not partner with McKinney I.S.D. to support enrollment of its students at Serenity the school is still available to you. A per-day tuition fee for enrollment will be assessed for each day the student is enrolled at Serenity. Call for details.
